Here is how it works:
  • Share Results provides you, the merchant, with a custom pixel tracking code
  • Your programmer or developer places the custom pixel tracking code on the webpage whereby the sales/registrations are confirmed (known as the acquisition page)
  • Affiliates that are approved into your program pull creative links (banner ads, text links, etc...) from your program, which are embedded with their own unique tracking ID
  • They publish these on their website, ad word, email campaign or other channels to promote your brand
  • When a referred customer clicks on the affiliate’s link, and completes a purchase or fills out a form on your site, this action will trigger the custom pixel tracking code on your landing page
  • The pixel records that sale/registration triggered by that customer along with the details of the affiliate that referred them
  • That data is then sent back to your affiliate program in real-time
  • Your sale/registration appears in your reports within seconds, identifying which one of your affiliates referred that customer
  • You log into your affiliate program and approve that sale
  • Your affiliate receives a commission from that sale
