PHP/SQL Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for a talented and dynamic Web Developer, who can contribute to the development and enhancement of our evolving software applications. The successful candidate will join our growing team at a full-time capacity and will work closely with product stakeholders to develop, test and debug new tools and functionality for the organization’s proprietary software products as well as handle support tickets and ad hoc requests relating to those products.

Position-Specific Responsibilities

  • Analyze clients’ business requirements and, in conjunction with designers, develop, test, and implement web based applications using PHP and MS SQL
  • Code, test and implement development requirements using PHP and MS SQL, in a collaborative and source-controlled environment
  • Develop cross-browser and W3C standards-compliant web interfaces using HTML, CSS, Java Script, jQuery and other technologies as required
  • Develop and implement SQL processes and database related applications
  • Write stored procedures and other database objects to simplify data access
  • Provide accurate assessments of the necessary time needed to complete the development and implementation of identified solutions
  • Communicate and collaborate with team members and users, in a precise and effective manner to provide high-quality solutions
  • Maintain, debug and validate our software products and websites
  • Internal and external client support for the company’s proprietary software products and registered software applications used by company employees
  • Ongoing development and maintenance of the company’s software products
  • Write code that is clean and elegant, solving highly complex problems
  • Participate actively in software design discussions

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Experience writing stored procedures in MS SQL databases
  • Good PHP programming skills
  • A solid understanding of CSS, HTML, XHTML, XML, Javascript, and AJAX
  • An understanding of Web Development standards and Best Practices including W3C standards compliance and issues related to cross-browser/cross-platform compatibility
  • Knowledge of MS SQL, MySQL, RDBMS and their specific tools: SQL, Transact SQL, Enterprise manager, Query Analyser, phpmyadmin
  • Knowledge of CVS and work process with CVS
  • Experience working with frameworks
  • Experience working with MVC
  • Basic knowledge of IIS and Apache servers
  • Basic knowledge of network services and communication protocols (TCP/IP, FTP, Telnet, SSH, SMTP, HTTP, HTTPS, SSL)

Job Summary

We're looking for a Business Development Coordinator with 1 to 2 years of work experience to join our ever growing organization. The Business Development Coordinator will be the first point of contact with new business prospects and will coordinate with applicable departments to ensure that potential clients and business partners are taken through the business development process in an appropriate and timely manner in order to build strong and meaningful relationships with clients from the start.

Expect to work in a fast-paced, hard working, environment. The ideal candidate has an autonomous and driven mindset, is an organizational player, is experienced with selling services and/or software, and is bilingual (French and English).

Position-Specific Responsibilities

  • Develop and prospect business opportunities within existing and new markets
  • Recognise and prioritise sales opportunities within the company’s guidelines
  • Identify, qualify and prospect business lead opportunities to pursue
  • Establish, build and manage client relationships at multiple levels with key decision makers, building trust within those organisations
  • Develop and deliver product demonstrations, corporate webinars and sales presentations
  • Manage the sales process from initial contact to account development, contract negotiations and closing
  • Organize and clearly communicate pertinent information relating to the prospect client to the appropriate internal support person / team

Online Marketing Affiliate Manager

Job Summary

The candidate will work closely with our clients to build successful and profitable affiliate programs by managing relationships with affiliates and providing valuable insight and analysis.

The ideal candidate is a bilingual driven person who is well acquainted with e-Commerce and has an interest in online marketing. We are looking for candidates with a good balance of creativity, passion, analytical skill and career ambition.

Position-Specific Responsibilities

  • Apply online research techniques to find potential websites for strategic affiliate partnerships
  • Negotiate deals and initial set-up of new affiliates
  • Build and maintain relationships with current affiliates
  • Create marketing tool design briefs for clients (e.g. banners, text links, HTML mailers, etc...)
  • Write content for press releases, blogs, articles and other marketing channels
  • Monitor and analyze program performance
  • Monitor industry websites, discussion forums, blogs and newsletters
  • Meet with merchants on a weekly basis and prepare weekly meeting agendas followed by notes for clients highlighting activity, outstanding and upcoming tasks
